Mitra Bostani Nasrabadi

Mitra Bostani Nasrabadi is an artist and PhD candidate at the University of the Arts Bremen. Her practice spans painting, philosophy, and interdisciplinary collaborations that bridge Persian literary traditions with contemporary visual culture. Growing up between her father’s passion for Persian poetry and her mother’s work in fashion design, she developed a visual language where literature and fabric meet. Her recent projects, The History of Buttons and Stitches (2025) and Turandokht (2026), reimagine cultural narratives through wearable art, collective design, and cross-cultural dialogue.
